If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Moonshine Lake. There's so much to do here at Moonshine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Memorial Campground is a great site for that. If time allows, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a national park worth going to; do take a hike on the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. For you golfers we recommend close by Mellen Country Club, and there's       whitewater on Marengo River for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Ashland, Wi is a great spot to get some rest; get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Bad River. For the duration of the days of summer at Moonshine Lake highs are frequently in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's while Moonshine Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime                  are in the 0's. From a rain point of view Moonshine Lake is a relatively normal spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Gogebic Range. After a long day outdoors Ashland Super 8 Motel is a brilliant location to spend a night or two.
