If you came for an overnight stay Mohican North Star Recreational Vehicle Park is a wonderful place to camp; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Red River. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Upper Red Lake is nearby; whitewater paddling is good on Wolf River - West Branch.       Moon Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here; January on the other hand is the driest. Pine Grove Campground, LLC is a wonderful campground nearby, and if you need a place to stay Cobblestone Inn and Suites is a nice choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Moon Lake. It's a magnificent idea to check out Island Creek, it's near Moon Lake; Comfort Inn & Suites is a good                  site to get some rest. Summertime highs at Moon Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
