An average amount of rain falls at Moon Lake; most of the rain falls all through September, and January on the other hand is the driest. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid location to spend a night or two; if you come at the right time of year, Red River offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Moon Lake is fine fun, Tilleda Falls Campground is a fine local campground, and if you've       had enough of Moon Lake, Gresham Pond 147 is close by. For the duration of the summertime, highs generally are in the 70's at Moon Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Moon Lake. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Moon Lake. Moon Lake is right by the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Pine Grove                  Campground, LLC is a perfect site to camp, and Cobblestone Inn and Suites is a great site to get some rest.
