If you come at the right       time of year, Namekagon River offers some great whitewater; if you get bored of Moody Lake you could also explore nearby Chinty Lake. High temperatures at Moody Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Moody Lake. From a rain point of view Moody Lake is a reasonably common place; during August                  this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
