There's some flowing water nearby, Salem Branch is a stream you can check out while here; you'll come across a scenic lake called Cross Lake. The skiing at Wilmot mountain is great, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Executive Inn is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. The Volo Bog Interpretive Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not camp at Happy Acres Kamp       Ground since you're here at Montgomery Lake. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Grand Geneva. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Montgomery Lake; Tamarack View Trail is a good local trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Silver Lake Marina is a good location to camp. Playing golf is lots of fun at Spring Valley Country Club, and Montgomery Lake is right by the Lake Defiance Nature Trail. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood                  of Montgomery Lake. From a rain point of view Montgomery Lake is a relatively common place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February.
