The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Montgomery Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's; nighttime lows at Montgomery Lake during the winter ordinarily drop into the-10's. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Norway Mountain; at Montgomery Lake you always meet someone from Iron Mountain. If you're here at Montgomery Lake and you like golf, you can stop at Eagle Mountain Golf Course, and unsurprisingly, this is a good vicinity for people who like lakes, Lake Anna is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Montgomery Lake has to offer, you can camp at Golden Eagle Park and Campground, and if you need a place to stay                  Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites IRON MOUNTAIN is a great choice. Montgomery Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Paint River, and a brilliant close by hotel is Budget Host Inn Iron Mountain.
