You're possibly interested in lakes, Lake Mendota 254 is one of those close by. There's so much to do here at Lake Monona that you need to camp here for a while, Madison KOA is a pleasant
spot for that. Lake Monona gets a normal amount of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If you came to camp De Forest Koa Kampground is a great place to do that, and the trees of Truvilles Woods are a splendid source of shade on hot summer days.
