Why not have a look at close by Bronken Creek while you're here at Mirror Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn West-Eau Claire. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Red Cedar River, and Mirror Lake is not far at all from Menomonie. If you came for an overnight stay Pine       Park Resort is a brilliant place to camp. What a site this is for outdoors people. Lakes are brilliant; Old Elk Lake is a lake that's right next door to Mirror Lake, and paddling on Chippewa River is so much fun.
