If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mirror Lake. If you come       at the right time of year, Chippewa River offers some pleasant whitewater. Bronken Creek flows through this area; a nice close by hotel is Comfort Inn Menomonie. Throughout the summer highs here at Mirror Lake get into the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Mirror Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Twin Springs Resort Campground                  is a glorious place to do that, and float down the rapids of Red Cedar River in a kayak.
