This lake is so wonderful. Whitetail Golf Course is a good golf course nearby; a nice place for whitewater paddling is Red Cedar River. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Here at Mirror Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Menomonie; a lake nearby is Mirror Lake 28. After a long day outdoors Eau Claire - Days Inn West is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Mirror       Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Springs Resort Campground is a pleasant place for that. Summer at Mirror Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows at Mirror Lake all through the winter commonly drop into the-10's. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River. You'll need more                  than a day to look at everything Mirror Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Park Resort, and Mirror Lake is not the only site close by, Old Elk Lake is a close by lake. From a precipitation point of view Mirror Lake is a rather typical site; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture.
