Budsberg Lake is a lake nearby; folks from Stevens Point love to come here. Why not camp at Hartman Creek State Park while you're here at Minister Lake, and if you need a place to stay Village Inn Motel is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Minister Lake is Family Frontier Campground, and there are some good whitewater spots on Little       Wolf River. Through the summer months here at Minister Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Minister Lake. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Minister Lake. A magnificent close by hotel is Comfort Suites Foxfire, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend                  Embarrass River - South Branch.
