A good place to camp here at Mill Pond is Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest, and dry warm beds await you at Park Falls Super 8 Motel. This lake is       so wonderful. Mill Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Butternut Lake Campground is a fine local campground; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a brilliant choice. Beaver Creek flows through this vicinity, obviously you could also stop at Buckman Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
