This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Mill Pond is Lakeview Park and Campground; Mill Pond is not the only site nearby, Balsam Lake 24 is a nearby lake. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Upper Balsam Lake WP92 Dam, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel       & Suites ST. CROIX VALLEY is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. Mill Pond gets a common amount of rain; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Apple River; Boston Bay is reasonably close. At Mill Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 50's.                  For the duration of the winter highs are in the 10's while Mill Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's. Camping is available at Cast-a-way Trailer Park, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Trollhaugen. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Mill Pond. Soar down the rapids of St. Croix River in a kayak, and Luck Country Inn is a great spot to get some rest.
