Get yourself into a kayak and hit Flambeau River - South Fork, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Miles Lake; Newman Springs Ski Trail is a good local trail. If you came to camp Emily Lake Campground is a splendid spot to do that, and Ferry Springs is always fun to check out. Summertime highs at Miles Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the       50's.
