After a long day outdoors Village Inn Waupaca is a fine spot to spend a night or two, and Amherst Millpond 90 is a nearby lake that you could explore. If you came for an overnight stay Family Frontier Campground is a pleasant spot to camp, and there's whitewater on Little Wolf River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. A fine close by hotel is Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel, and Amherst Dam is a lovely       place, absolutely worth stopping at. Be careful coming to Meyers Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Meyers Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; all through August this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. Fountain Lake Land Yacht is a great campground here; at Meyers Lake you always meet someone from Stevens Point. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Meyers Lake get into the 80's.                  Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's.
