There's just no way someone can get bored here at Meta Lake. Camping at Chain O'lakes Resort Park is always a wonderful experience, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Anvil Lake Trail System. Near Meta Lake you stumble on the Kimball Creek Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, as expected you could also       check out Squash Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. During the summertime at Meta Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 10's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Meta Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful location to camp here at Meta Lake is Camp Luther, and dry warm beds await you at Wild Eagle Lodge. Golf can be played at Lake Forest                  Recreation Area Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Eagle River is a magnificent choice.
