There's so much to do here at Meilke Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Of The woods Campground is a great site for that; a pleasant nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Wautoma. For the period of the days of summer at Meilke Lake highs are frequently in the 80's.       Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 20's while Meilke Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Looking for some flowing water? Try Bird Creek; not far from Meilke Lake you'll come across Pickerel Lake which is a beautiful lake.
