Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Embarrass River - South Branch; an afternoon playing golf at Foxfire Golf Club is always a joy. Why not camp at Deerhaven Campground while you're here at Meed Lake; a good close by hotel is Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect place to camp here at Meed Lake is Royal Oaks Golf Resort, and why not take a little journey to Peterson Creek since you're here.       The yearly precipitation here at Meed Lake is about average; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Wolf River; after a long day outdoors Knights Inn Redgranite is a great spot to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Gurholt Lake is around here, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from                  nearby Stevens Point. Yeah, come here to Meed Lake for a great time. The scenery at Scandinavia Dam near Meed Lake is stunning, and not far from Meed Lake you'll find Sand Lake which is a picturesque lake. At Meed Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Meed Lake.
