You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area right next door to Meed Lake has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Redgranite, and you can run the rapids of Embarrass River - South Branch. You'll come across a wonderful lake called Silver Lake near Meed Lake, and folks from Stevens Point love to come here. Scandinavia Dam has magnificent water scenery and       it's close to Meed Lake, and there's whitewater on Little Wolf River for all you adrenaline junkies. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Meed Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Meed Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures                  at Meed Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Foxfire Golf Club is a wonderful golf course close by, and if you came to camp Royal Oaks Golf Resort is a great location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Meed Lake, you could also pop by pretty Skunk Lake, and Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel is a nice spot to get some rest.
