This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. Having a glorious time in the Gogebic Range is simple. Hiking along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail is nice fun, and a good close by hotel is Americinn - Ashland, Wi. Camping is available at Butternut Lake Campground, and there's whitewater on Bad River for all you thrill seekers. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Meder       Lake while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Meder Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Meder Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. City Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and a glorious place to camp here at Meder Lake is Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground. This                  lake is so wonderful. Eagles Peak can be seen from Meder Lake, and if you get bored of Meder Lake you could also have a look at nearby Long Lake. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Meder Lake has it all.
