The beauty of McLaren Lake is reason enough to stop by. Summertime highs at McLaren Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while McLaren Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Ashland Super 8 Motel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
