    If you are in this part of Wisconsin make sure to pay a visit to McKaskel Lake. A day on the slopes of Whitecap Mountain is just what you need, and McKaskel Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest is a delightful local campground. From a precipitation point of view McKaskel Lake is a pretty normal place; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. You clearly have  
   to go for McKaskel Lake.
If you need a location to stay Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a wonderful choice, and going for a hike on the Newman Springs Ski Trail is always a great adventure. There's so much to do here at McKaskel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is a tremendous place for that, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Flambeau River - North Fork. For the period of the warm days
 
               of summer at McKaskel Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to McKaskel Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Phillips; you can run the rapids of Flambeau River - South Fork.
