Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! McGinnis Lake rocks! Stay the night at Northforest Campgrounds; as expected, this is a glorious area for people who like lakes, Burlock Lake is a lake close at hand. Summertime highs at McGinnis Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in       the 10's; overnight lows at McGinnis Lake through the wintertime usually descend into the-10's. After a long day outdoors Americinn Rhinelander is a perfect place to spend a night or two; McGinnis Lake is a place with many visitors from Merrill. Paddling on Prairie River is so much fun. The yearly precipitation here at McGinnis Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Granite Peak is                  a very popular ski area nearby; get soaked paddling on Wisconsin River. This lake is so wonderful. At McGinnis Lake you can spot Lookout Mountain, and hey, Kippenberg Creek is a fine local stream.
