There's so much to do here at McGinnis Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Birkensee Resort is a splendid spot for that. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Rhinelander is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Wisconsin River. Through the summer months highs here at McGinnis Lake reach the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of       the winter highs are ordinarily in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at McGinnis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Granite Peak is a great spot to do that; McGinnis Lake is a location with many visitors from Merrill. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Prairie River, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Echo Lake. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at McGinnis Lake; August is when                  you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Lookout Mountain is a peak you can observe from McGinnis Lake, and Americas Best Value Inn / Rhinelander is a good spot to get some rest. So much amusing stuff to do here at McGinnis Lake, too good to be true.
