Hiking along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail is nice fun, and a tremendous site for whitewater paddling is Flambeau River - North Fork. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Christie Mountain, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn Lodge Ladysmith. An average amount of precipitation falls at McGee Lake; the month with most of the rain is August while February is frequently the driest month. If only every       location had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. McGee Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, West Cove Lanes is a good local campground. For the period of the warm days of summer at McGee Lake highs are generally in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to McGee Lake. After a long day outdoors Americinn                  - Ladysmith, Wi is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Flambeau River. This lake is so wonderful.
