So many cool things to do here in the Gogebic Range, too perfect to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Tyler Forks; everybody close by loves skiing at Whitecap Mountain. Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground is a perfect local campground, and Caroline Lake is a nice lake close by. McCarthy Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one       with the most rain while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than McCarthy Lake, for example Maki Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. There's just no way someone can get bored here at McCarthy Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Park Falls. High temperatures at McCarthy Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down                  it falls down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at McCarthy Lake are in the 0's.
