McCarthy Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summer at McCarthy Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for McCarthy Lake. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to McCarthy Lake. McCarthy Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; through August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
After a long day outdoors Americinn - Ashland, Wi is a splendid site to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Day Lake Campground. Brush Creek is a stunning stream that is worth taking a look at, and don't leave McCarthy Lake without first going for a hike along the Black Lake Trail.
