This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Glen Loch Motel is a tremendous choice; getting to Cedar Creek from McCann Lake is simple. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Chetek is a fine location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at McCann Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lured In Lodge & Campground is       a pleasant place for that. So many fun things to do at McCann Lake, so little time. Nearby lakes? Sure, Brush Lake is close to McCann Lake; there's pleasant hiking along the Deer Fly Trail. Throughout the months of summer at McCann Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for McCann Lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting                  soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River, and this is a popular place for folks from Eau Claire.
