McCall Lake is a nice lake to visit. Camping is available at Raft 'n Rest Campgrounds, and a nice close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Wolf River Nicolet Forest Center is a delightful place to camp, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. You just must fancy McCall Lake. Whitewater paddling is good on Wolf River. The Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is a perfect hiking trail close to McCall Lake; Shawano Super 8 Motel is a good location to get some rest.
