There's just no way anyone can get bored here at McCall Lake. McCall Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Wagon wheel Campground is a nice site to camp nearby, and Mason Lake 37 is a nearby lake that you could stop by. A lake nearby is Mason Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Portage Super 8 Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Baraboo River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can go       for a hike on the East Bluff Woods Trail. McCall Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Morris Cove is not far from McCall Lake at all, and don't leave McCall Lake without first going for a hike along the East Bluff Trail. Skiing at Cascade Mountain is one of those things you just have to do; Best Western Resort                  Hotel & Conference Center is a fine place to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is good on Skillet Creek; there's fine hiking along the Grottos Trail. Summertime at McCall Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at McCall Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
