If the weather is fine here at Mayflower Lake, you can go for a hike along the Dendro Eco Trail; let's not forget Indian River which is a stream that you may run into while here. Nearby lakes? Sure, Wabikon Lake is in the neighborhood of Mayflower Lake, and you can stay the night at Ham Lake Camp Grounds. Summertime highs at Mayflower Lake generally tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.       Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mayflower Lake are in the-10's. After a long day outdoors Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Eds Lake Trail System. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Nicolet Country Club is in the vicinity, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wolf River. The yearly rainfall here at Mayflower Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February.
