Not far from Mayflower Lake, you'll hit upon Little Popple Lake which is a beautiful lake, and Indian Springs is a beautiful site to take a look at while you're at Mayflower Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Brule Mountain. Through the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the       70's at Mayflower Lake while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Mayflower Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. The Dendro Eco Trail offers hiking at its best; it's a great idea to take a look at Indian River. Mayflower Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the                  least amount of precipitation. Mayflower Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Richardson Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground, and Nicolet Country Club is a golf course nearby. Mayflower Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Hardwood Lake; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Wolf River.
