Any time is a great time at Marty Lake if you love the outdoors. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Marty Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Double       E Resort is a nice site for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Little Muskie Lake. Marty Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Flambeau River - South Fork; if you came to camp Fishtrap Campground is a great location to do that.
