Near Marty Lake you hit upon the Newman Springs Ski Trail which is a nice hiking trail; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a great choice. Any time is a great time at Marty Lake if you love the outdoors. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Marty Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Double

Marty Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.
