Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Shawano, and don't leave Malone Lake without first paying a visit to Freeman Falls. Comfort Inn & Suites is a perfect site to get some rest, and Malone Lake is right by the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Malone Lake, for example Mission Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Malone Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mohican North Star Recreational

Through the summertime at Malone Lake highs are generally in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Malone Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Malone Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Red River, and Koon Lake is a glorious lake nearby. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody | |

but if it's for you then we recommend Wolf River - West Branch. There's so much to do here at Malone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Grove Campground, LLC is a glorious spot for that.

Boulder Lake Lodge Resort is 80 acres located in the Nicolet National Forest on spring fed Boulder Lake. The national forest forms the property line to the north and Boulder Lake is the property line on the south. We have every outdoor sport you can think of from motorized water sports to snowmobiling. There is fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and hunting in the adjecent national forest. At the end of the days activity or just for a mid-afternoon drink, you can stop by for a cold one and some good conversation at the Lodge.
