The beauty of Lyman Lake is reason enough to stop by. Stay the night at Amnicon Acres Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Deer Lake near Lyman Lake, and after a long day outdoors Superior Super 8 Motel is a great site to spend a night or two. Lyman Lake gets a typical amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.

| | There's so much to do here at Lyman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Northland Camping and RV Park is a delightful place for that, and glide down the rapids of Amnicon River in a kayak. If you need a place to stay Barkers Island Inn and Conference Center is a good choice. Throughout the summer at Lyman Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's, and night lows throughout the winter for Lyman Lake tend to be in the-10's.
