Stay the night at Amnicon Acres Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Deer Lake near Lyman Lake, and after a long day outdoors Superior Super 8 Motel is a great site to spend a night or two. Lyman Lake gets a typical amount of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.       There's so much to do here at Lyman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Northland Camping and RV Park is a delightful place for that, and glide down the rapids of Amnicon River in a kayak. If you need a place to stay Barkers Island Inn and Conference Center is a good choice. Throughout the summer at Lyman Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's.
