If you are in Forest county it's always a good idea to stop by Luna Lake. A lake close by is Mayflower Lake; if you came to camp Kentuck Lake Campground is a good spot to do that. The amount of rainfall that falls at Luna Lake is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. | | hiking adventure along the Anvil Lake Trail System.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Luna Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Luna-White Deer Campground is a great place for that, and White Deer Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Luna Lake is peerless! Howell Creek is next to Luna Lake and is always a delight to go to, and do take a hike on the Kimball Creek Trail.

If you come at the right time of year, Pine River offers some brilliant whitewater, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Summer brings highs in the 70's to
Luna Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Luna Lake. Hiking along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is splendid fun; if you need a place to stay Wild Eagle Lodge is a pleasant choice.
