You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lucius Lake has to offer, you can camp at Copper Range Campground; a good close by hotel is Americinn -       Hayward, Wi. You can run the rapids of Bois Brule River next to Lucius Lake; do pop by Big Lake, it's a beautiful lake. From a rainfall point of view Lucius Lake is a pretty typical place; all through August this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Why not take a look at nearby Nebagamon Creek since you're here at Lucius Lake, and while you're here, you could also visit beautiful Sucker Lake. Big Twin Rapids is a glorious                  local attraction, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Pigeon Lake Trail. During the months of summer highs here at Lucius Lake get into the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's.
