This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine location to spend a night or two; why not explore nearby Gardner Creek if you're here at Lower Red Lake. Red River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and Upper Red Lake is a brilliant lake close by. Lower       Red Lake is a good place of common rain; most of the rain falls during September, and the driest of the months is January. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Lower Red Lake. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Wolf River - West Branch, and a good nearby hotel is Cobblestone Inn and Suites. Summertime highs at Lower Red Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
