If you like skiing, you're in luck; Highlands of Olympia is right next door to Lower Nashotah Lake, and Lower Nashotah Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pine woods Campground is a       good local campground. From a rain point of view Lower Nashotah Lake is a rather typical place; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
