It's always fun to stop by Lower Lake. Lower Lake is a good spot of normal rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and January on the other hand is the driest. Chitwood Hollow is a perfect place to spend some time at, and at Lower Lake you always meet someone from Platteville. Camping at Eagle Cave Resort is always a fine experience, and why not stop by Cedar Point also while you're here.

| | Ctr White House Super Club - Richland Center is a great location to get some rest. For the period of the long summer days at Lower Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lower Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Welcome Inn-Lancaster, and a good spot to camp here at Lower Lake is Crooked River Resort.
