Playing golf is lots of fun at Krooked Kreek Golf Course, and hiking along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail is great fun. Just can't get enough of Lower Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River; if you have time, Saint Croix National Scenic River is a national park worth stopping at. This lake       is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Lawrence Creek, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Wild Mountain is quite near. Camping is available at Wildwood Park Campgrounds; swamps like Close Slu next to Lower Lake make for glorious places to explore. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Apple River; the skiing at Trollhaugen is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. Peaslee Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; after a long day                  outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi is a fine place to spend a night or two. Lower Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you get bored of Lower Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Rice Lake. Summertime at Lower Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lower Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
