Jones Spring E31.25 Dam is a gorgeous location close to Lower Jones Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Eds Lake Trail System. The Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best, and swing by Mary Creek it's a nice site to explore. Summertime highs at Lower Jones Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High       temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lower Jones Lake drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail; Lower Jones Lake is not the only place close by, Wichser Lake is a close by lake. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. There's so much to do here at Lower Jones Lake that you need to camp                  here for a while, Boot Lake Campground is a tremendous place for that, and paddling on Wolf River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lower Jones Lake without first paying a visit to Jones Spring, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Wolf River. If you get bored of Lower Jones Lake, you could also stop by close by Fanny Lake, and a great close by hotel is Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites. Stay the night at Fanny Lake Walk-in Campground, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a good choice.
