Lakes are perfect; Fanny Lake is a lake that's near Lower Jones Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites. Get dripping wet paddling on Wolf River, and at Jones Spring E31.25 Dam in close proximity to Lower Jones Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see. The Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail       is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Lower Jones Lake, and why not camp at Fanny Lake Walk-in Campground if you're here at Lower Jones Lake. What a site this is for outdoors people. Paddling on Wolf River is so much fun, and Jones Spring is a splendid local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lower Jones Lake, you'll locate Wichser Lake which is a scenic lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Popple                  Ridge Snowmobile Trail. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Lower Jones Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Lower Jones Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Lower Jones Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.
