Lotus Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Trollhaugen, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River. Just can't get enough of Lotus Lake. Wildwood Park Campgrounds is a tremendous local campground,       and do pay a visit to Saint Croix National Scenic River if you're here at Lotus Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi. Throughout the days of summer at Lotus Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Lotus Lake overnight low temperatures all                  through the wintertime are in the 0's. Why not stop by nearby Behning Creek while you're here at Lotus Lake; lakes are such peaceful spots, why not visit Round Lake. Apple River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Poplar Lake is a fine lake nearby. If you came for an overnight stay Schillberg's Campgrounds is a great location to camp, and a golf course close by is St Croix Valley Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
