Piney woods Campgrounds is a wonderful campground here; after a long day outdoors Lepak Cottage & Lake Home is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Eds Lake Trail System, and let's not forget Lost Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. For the period of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 70's at Lost Lake. Summer overnight lows dip       down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Lost Lake. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Lost Lake has it all. From a rain point of view Lost Lake is a rather common location; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. Lost Lake is a pleasant place to camp, Shady Brook Campground is                  a pleasant place, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Wolf River.
