A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling close to Lost Lake is Wolf River, and if you came for an overnight stay Richardson Lake Campground is a brilliant place to camp. | | Eds Lake Trail System, and the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. Lost Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. During the summertime here at Lost Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. in the winter at Lost Lake temperatures plunge to the-10's. Lost Lake is not the only location close by, Eds Lake is a close by lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful.
If you need a spot to stay Days Inn of Antigo is a great choice, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Dendro Eco Trail.
