If you are in Washburn county it's always a good idea to stop by Loon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Totogatic River; after a long day outdoors Americinn - Hayward, Wi is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Sunrise Bay Campground is a wonderful site to do that. Some nearby water includes Flat Creek, and a nice close by hotel is Northern Pine Inn. | | of summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Loon Lake. An average amount of precipitation falls at Loon Lake; during August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Loon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nelson Lake Lodge is a fine spot for that, and soar down the rapids of Namekagon River in a kayak.
