Camping is available at Fawn Lake Campground, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Kiryat Hotel. Golf can be played at Shawano Lake Golf Club, and a striking lake like Lulu Lake is a nice site to have a look at. From a rain point of view Loon Lake is a quite normal spot; September is the month that       gets the most rain while January is generally the driest month. High temperatures at Loon Lake during the warm months are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Loon Lake are in the-10's.
