If only every location had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it would be. Hopkins Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Loon Lake; most of the rain falls throughout August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the warm months at Loon Lake highs       are commonly in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Loon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Loon Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Swansons Motel and Campground is a brilliant local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Bois Brule River. A wonderful spot to camp here at Loon Lake is Copper Range Campground, and                  if you come at the right time of year, Eau Claire River offers some nice whitewater.
