Lakes are great; Crystal Lake is a lake that's next to Loon Lake, and paddling on St. Croix River is so much fun. After a long day outdoors Best Western American Heritage Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two. During the days of summer at Loon Lake highs are typically in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the       20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Loon Lake. Adventureland Campground is a brilliant campground here; a round of golf at nearby Black Bear Golf Club is a perfect way to kill some time. If you came for an overnight stay Gordon Flowage Campground is a splendid site to camp, and a great nearby hotel is Country House Motel.
