For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Loon Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Gogebic Range for a pleasant time. There's some flowing water close by, City Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay; Loon Lake is not the only site close by, Murphy Lake is a close by lake. You'll wish for more hours in       a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Loon Lake. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Tyler Forks. There's so much to do here at Loon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Waverly Campground is a delightful location for that. Be careful coming to the Gogebic Range, you might not ever want to return home again. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Ashland is a pleasant choice, and if you've had enough of Loon Lake, Beaver Lake is                  close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Loon Lake and you like golf, you can stop at Mellen Country Club. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Loon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wildwood Haven Resort and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Ashland, Wi, and nearby you stumble on the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail which is a great hiking trail. A tour to Brownstone Falls will fill your spirit with delightful feelings; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Bad River. Loon Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February.
