There's whitewater on Tyler Forks for all you adrenaline junkies, and there are tremendous sites to explore along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Ashland Super 8 Motel, and a wonderful site to camp here at Loon Lake is       Waverly Campground. Loon Lake is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Gogebic Range is peerless! Camping is available at Butternut Lake Campground. Yeah, come here to Loon Lake for a fine time. City Creek is in close proximity to Loon Lake and is always a pleasure to go to, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Bad River.
