Wisconsin has many beautiful lakes and Long Trade Lake is one of them. You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Bullhead Lake is one of those close by; of course Butternut Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth going to. Go for a hike on the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. Long Trade Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, James N Mcnally Campground is a great local campground; Saint Croix National Scenic River is a good site close by. for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and if you need a site to stay Luck Country Inn is a good choice.
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi is a good place
to get some rest, and Atlas Feed Mill Mill Dam is not far at all from Long Trade Lake. Long Trade Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is when
it's the driest.
What a site this is for outdoors people. There's so much to do here at Long Trade Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is a wonderful place for that, and what would winter be without some skiing at Trollhaugen.
