Bakkens Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; there are plenty of people from Baraboo here. Do stop at Long Lake close to Long Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and why not camp at Wisconsin Riverside Resort if you're here at       Long Lake. An interesting thing to stop at near Long Lake is Bakkens Pond H2.117 Dam, and Dodgeville Super 8 Motel is a glorious location to get some rest. Otter Creek is a perfect local stream; if you need a location to stay Don Q Inn is a fine choice. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area next to Long Lake has to offer. A tremendous place to camp here at Long Lake is Flying J Campgrounds. For the period of the summer                  months at Long Lake highs are regularly in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
