During your spree to Long Lake you'll meet some people from Eau Claire for sure, and there's whitewater on Chippewa River for all you thrill seekers. If you need a location to stay Americinn Lodge Ladysmith is a delightful choice; Long Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Ward's Flambeau Resort is a perfect local campground. Going for a hike on the Hay Meadow       Trail is always a glorious adventure, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Christie Mountain if you're here. An average amount of rain falls at Long Lake; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. At Long Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and                  night lows during the wintertime for Long Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp River's Edge Park is a fine spot to do that. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Long Lake. There is a perfect hiking trail near Long Lake called the Deer Fly Trail, and a lake nearby is Thornapple Flowage 1965. This lake is so wonderful.
