This lake is so wonderful. People from Whitewater love to come to Long Lake, and Wilmot mountain is a perfect local ski area. While you're here at Long Lake you can take a hike along the Tamarack View Trail; the slopes of Alpine Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. Having a magnificent time at Long       Lake is trouble-free. All the outdoors entertaining things near Long Lake will keep you coming back persistently. If you need a place to stay Sleep Inn Mukwonago is a pleasant choice, and float down the rapids of White River in a kayak. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Long Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Long Lake dipping down into the                  0's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to White River from Long Lake is uncomplicated, and a gorgeous lake like Brock Lake is a splendid place to pop by. If the weather is good here at Long Lake, you can go for a hike along the Leather Leaf Bog Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn & Suites Waterford. Meadowlark Acres Family Campground is a great campground nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pewaukee River. Long Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
