There are swamps here too; Cedarburg Bog is close by, and Long Lake is a place with many visitors from Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. If you came to camp Lazy Day's Camp Ground is a nice location to do that; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Saukville Milwaukee. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Cedar Creek, and you'll locate a scenic lake called Drzewiceki Lake. There's no such

| | thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sunburst, and a pretty lake like Gough Lake is a great place to visit.
Camping at Willow Mill Campsite is always a pleasant experience, and if you need a site to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Milwaukee/Grafton is a delightful choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Milwaukee River, and if you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Fire Ridge Golf Club. Long Lake | |

High temperatures at Long Lake through the summertime months are in the 80's
while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Little Switzerland has great slopes and a friendly staff.

My husband and I were out riding around and found what we thought was Hilly Haven. We turned off hwy 28 and ended up driving into a gated area. We didn't think it was open. We drove through an area that looked like a dump with metal and plastic barrels in a creek. There were abandonded vehicles all over the place. When we drove into the gated area, the buildings there almost looked abandonded as well. If this was Hilly Haven, the DNR should have a look at the area. We were depressed when we left.... |
