Hiking along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is nice fun; if you need a place to stay Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a brilliant choice. High temperatures at Long Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Long Lake plunge into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are

| | perfect; Galyan Springs is a lake that's right next door to Long Lake; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Wolf River. Going for a hike along the Eds Lake Trail System will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if you came for an overnight stay Jesse's wolf River Lodge is a fine site to camp.

Springs is a lake around here, and Raft 'n Rest Campgrounds is a brilliant local campground. From a rainfall point of view Long Lake is a rather normal site; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

Boulder Lake Lodge Resort is 80 acres located in the Nicolet National Forest on spring fed Boulder Lake. The national forest forms the property line to the north and Boulder Lake is the property line on the south. We have every outdoor sport you can think of from motorized water sports to snowmobiling. There is fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and hunting in the adjecent national forest. At the end of the days activity or just for a mid-afternoon drink, you can stop by for a cold one and some good conversation at the Lodge.
